Vibiana shines on Super 8

Amy & Jason commissioned us to create a film piece for them that captured the unique heart of their event. Super 8 was the perfect choice, encompassing both the playful and classic elements of their wedding day. I love the B&W film of Amy on the terrace and the spontaneous images of Jason greeting his guests. Thank you Amy & Jason for allowing us to take part in your amazing wedding day.

This is something I’ve been dying to share and I’m so glad Valentine’s Day is almost upon us to finally let the “cat out of the bag” on this little film. We had the ultimate pleasure of working with Plum Pretty Sugar to produce this little fashion editorial in celebration of Valentine’s Day. Plum Pretty Sugar makes some of the most sought after robes and lounge wear or what they call “loungerie.” Please enjoy and I can’t wait to share more of these in the future.

Inspired by Mid-Century Modern

We had a very busy Fall last year and one of our last weddings for the year was Jindy & Tilmann’s at the beautiful Resort at Pelican Hill. From the first time I met Jindy & Tilmann, I was instantly inspired and charmed by their personalities and vibrant love. Their two families came together from across the world to celebrate with them and there was a real sense of rich family history. I could talk all day about all of the beautiful moments I had to leave out from this short vignette, but I’ll restrain and let the film sweep over you.

A Romantic French Château Wedding

Jessica & Chetan invited us to come along with them to capture their romantic, Tutors inspired, wedding. Set against the stunning Château d’Esclimont, their wedding concluded with a larger than life fireworks display that deserved it’s own little film. There’s so much to show from this event, but here’s just a small glimpse.

Romance at the Ritz-Carlton

It was the soft light, rich detail, and friends & family that made Caren & Neal’s wedding so much fun to capture. We’re honored to present a small glimpse of the romance and love that showed throughout their wedding day.

Escape to Bacara

Lulu & Gavin’s vision for their wedding day was one of romance and soft beauty; Alexandra Kolendrianos and Mindy Rice brought their vision to life. It was a creative dream to escape briefly to another iconic location, Dos Pueblos Ranch, and capture a beautiful private photo shoot with Elizabeth Messina.

Intimate La Jolla Wedding

Looking back on Laura & Jon’s wedding, the grace and elegance of the entire evening was beautiful. With the sharing of their personal vows and the exchange of communion, and followed by an evening celebration with family and close friends; you would have never known that the whole day was almost altered by the rain.

Glamours Montage Laguna Beach Wedding

One of my favorite things to see is when something modern and glamorous is captured on a classic medium like 16mm film. The combination of all those elements makes for a beautiful presentation. It’s always so much fun to see what film can bring to any event; be it a formal black tie soiree, tropical celebration, or natural mountaintop affair. Film captures a distinct feeling that often eludes the naked eye; Erin and Scott had just such an event. Their wedding had a relaxed glamour that complimented the beautiful setting of the Montage Laguna Beach perfectly. The groomsmen’s causal attire and flowing bridesmaid’s gowns, along with just a touch of glamour in the bride’s jewelry made it all come together so well. I couldn’t help but to tie it all together with a track by the french duo Air.

Malibu Beach House Wedding

Petra and Josh, who both live in New York, had a classic Southern California wedding at the beautiful Adamson House in Malibu. Situated right on the coast, the Adamson House was the perfect backdrop for their ceremony and reception. I was such a fan of the eclectic and rustic elements used throughout their decor, they were so much fun on film. One of my favorite moments to capture was Petra as she sat on a couch outside with her mother, sister, and grandmother; all four generations were filmed enjoying the amazing California weather. Petra & Josh were in love with our 16mm wedding films and knew right away that film was the perfect fit to capture their seaside wedding because it offered just the right amount of vintage flare.
