Figueroa Mountain Farmhouse Wedding

Set in what has to be one of the most idyllic Southern Californian locations, Kirsten & Tim’s Figueroa Mountain Farmhouse Wedding took place atop the rolling hills of Santa Ynez Valley wine country; their wedding was full of classic rustic, elements and personal touches like a six layer cheese cake. Santa Ynez has some of the most beautiful locations and I’m always so blessed to shoot in such beautiful scenery.

Chic Sunstone Villa Wedding

The California sunlight in the late summer - early fall, is one of my all time favorite things and it really comes through in Brianne & Brien’s wedding film. The sunlight’s soft warmth wraps around everything. It was the perfect compliment to the warm and subtle textures incorporated throughout their wedding day, all beautifully put together by Alexandra Kolendrianos with floral design by Mindy Rice. Not to mention, Brianne’s beautiful gown and all the fine details in her bridesmaid’s gowns, truly remarkable. Spellcaster Maxim

Escape to Napa

Very few places are as well known as Napa Valley and for good reason, its reputation proceeds it as being a purveyor of Californian lifestyle – food, sun, wine, and relaxation abound. Sarah and Brad invited us to capture their beautiful napa wedding weekend and I’m so excited to share this small preview from their very intimate wedding soiree. More to come soon…

Lakeside Wedding in Switzerland

We had the immense honor of producing Geraldine & Felix’s wedding film in the beautiful town of Ascona, Switzerland; a place I hope I can revisit often. I could go on and on about the detail and rich history of the church in which they said their wedding vows and the beauty and character of the island villa they partied at all night long, but I think it’s better said with images than words, so I’ll stop here :)

Chic Pelican Hill Wedding by Details Details

You would be hard pressed to find another couple more photogenic than Melissa & Joe. It was such a blast to capture this very classic and chic event designed by the talented Sunny Ravanbach of White Lilac and produced by Jeannie Savage. This short vignette does not begin to scratch the surface , so many great moments had to be left out, but it’s a beautiful look into what a great event they had. Vermont Summer Wedding

Traveling is one of my favorite perks of the job and this past August we had the pleasure of traveling to Vermont for Jennifer & Canute’s garden summer wedding. I was recently told that Vermont is the United States’ best kept secret and after visiting, I have to agree. Jennifer & Canute’s wedding was held in a beautiful field, overlooking the Nebraska Valley, at the Trapp Family Lodge and the entire event was masterfully crafted by Beth Helmstetter.

Kelsey & Marc – 16mm Meets Super 8

A constant question I’m asked is which medium do I like the most, Super 8 or 16mm; well my answer changes from day-to day, but maybe for a true creative expression, the answer is a mix of the two mediums. Kelsey and Marc’s film was just that; unitizing both Super 8 and 16mm film, we were able to accent and show-off some of the great characteristics of each format. I love the over-saturated, grainy look, of Super 8 and am a huge fan of how clean and flexible the 16mm image is in low light. Not to mention, how the mix of mediums meld so well together to craft a beautiful and moving film. We’ll be doing more of this for sure.

Palm Springs Wedding

Marissa and Ron were so kind to invite us to their intimate wedding celebration in Palm Springs at the Korakia Pensione. It was inspiring to capture their love for one another at one of the most beautiful and iconic locations that Southern California has to offer. The bride and groom invited their family and friends to stay at a historic adobe, dating back to the early 1900’s and were wed in its beautiful courtyard. Lisa Vorce of Oh, How Charming!, Mindy Rice, and Aaron Delesie created, presented, and captured the celebration beautifully.

Inspired by Mid-Century Modern

We had a very busy Fall last year and one of our last weddings for the year was Jindy & Tilmann’s at the beautiful Resort at Pelican Hill. From the first time I met Jindy & Tilmann, I was instantly inspired and charmed by their personalities and vibrant love. Their two families came together from across the world to celebrate with them and there was a real sense of rich family history. I could talk all day about all of the beautiful moments I had to leave out from this short vignette, but I’ll restrain and let the film sweep over you.

A Romantic French Château Wedding

Jessica & Chetan invited us to come along with them to capture their romantic, Tutors inspired, wedding. Set against the stunning Château d’Esclimont, their wedding concluded with a larger than life fireworks display that deserved it’s own little film. There’s so much to show from this event, but here’s just a small glimpse.
