A Journey Through Hong Kong

On a recent trip to Hong Kong, we met up with Charo & Shaaz, and had the opportunity to spend sometime time with them as they explored Hong Kong by land and sea; from the antique markets, to an abandoned fort, to the peak overlooking the city of Hong Kong and Victoria Harbor, and all this was followed by the breathtaking views of the Hong Kong skyline, as only can be seen from a boat. It was a remarkable adventure and  I cannot wait to make it back to that amazing city.

Escape to Napa

Very few places are as well known as Napa Valley and for good reason, its reputation proceeds it as being a purveyor of Californian lifestyle – food, sun, wine, and relaxation abound. Sarah and Brad invited us to capture their beautiful napa wedding weekend and I’m so excited to share this small preview from their very intimate wedding soiree. More to come soon…

Lakeside Wedding in Switzerland

We had the immense honor of producing Geraldine & Felix’s wedding film in the beautiful town of Ascona, Switzerland; a place I hope I can revisit often. I could go on and on about the detail and rich history of the church in which they said their wedding vows and the beauty and character of the island villa they partied at all night long, but I think it’s better said with images than words, so I’ll stop here :)

Vermont Summer Wedding

Traveling is one of my favorite perks of the job and this past August we had the pleasure of traveling to Vermont for Jennifer & Canute’s garden summer wedding. I was recently told that Vermont is the United States’ best kept secret and after visiting, I have to agree. Jennifer & Canute’s wedding was held in a beautiful field, overlooking the Nebraska Valley, at the Trapp Family Lodge and the entire event was masterfully crafted by Beth Helmstetter.

Palm Springs Wedding

Marissa and Ron were so kind to invite us to their intimate wedding celebration in Palm Springs at the Korakia Pensione. It was inspiring to capture their love for one another at one of the most beautiful and iconic locations that Southern California has to offer. The bride and groom invited their family and friends to stay at a historic adobe, dating back to the early 1900’s and were wed in its beautiful courtyard. Lisa Vorce of Oh, How Charming!, Mindy Rice, and Aaron Delesie created, presented, and captured the celebration beautifully.

A Romantic French Château Wedding

Jessica & Chetan invited us to come along with them to capture their romantic, Tutors inspired, wedding. Set against the stunning Château d’Esclimont, their wedding concluded with a larger than life fireworks display that deserved it’s own little film. There’s so much to show from this event, but here’s just a small glimpse.

Escape to Bacara

Lulu & Gavin’s vision for their wedding day was one of romance and soft beauty; Alexandra Kolendrianos and Mindy Rice brought their vision to life. It was a creative dream to escape briefly to another iconic location, Dos Pueblos Ranch, and capture a beautiful private photo shoot with Elizabeth Messina.

Intimate La Jolla Wedding

Looking back on Laura & Jon’s wedding, the grace and elegance of the entire evening was beautiful. With the sharing of their personal vows and the exchange of communion, and followed by an evening celebration with family and close friends; you would have never known that the whole day was almost altered by the rain.

Turks and Caicos Island Wedding

Chelsea and Eric treated family and friends to an island getaway and invited their guests to the Ganesvoort Turks and Caicos for a wedding weekend filled with amazing food, drinks, and laughs. It was a perfectly planned weekend, filled to the brim with the most wonderful activities. The bride and groom sailed the turquoise waters with their guests and enjoyed a tasty lunch of the island’s most popular fare at the local Conch Shack. The groom and his friends enjoyed a golf tournament while the ladies were pampered at the spa and took a Core Fusion class with his bride.

An amazing rehearsal dinner was set for the couple on the powdery white beaches of the Ganesvoort in which the guests arrived barefoot and ready to celebrate with the happy couple. Chelsea and Eric said, “I do” amongst rain drops and gentle winds, surrounded by their cherished family and friends. The Turks and Caicos proved a perfect location for Chelsea and Eric’s wedding and 16mm film was the perfect medium to capture the beautiful couple and guests enjoying every moment.

Charming English Wedding on Super 8

Across the pond in the rolling countryside of Hampshire, England, we met up with an amazing couple, Alicia and Jun. We had the pleasure of spending a couple of days with them enjoying English tea, taking a scenic barge trip to the local pub, and capturing their breathtaking wedding ceremony in the gardens of the Four Seasons, Hampshire, a former estate of Henry VIII. The weekend was perfect and their super 8 film offers just a small taste of the beautiful anthology that we’re creating for them.
